hi, i'm alina
i realized I loved exploring the world through a camera at a young age. my dad was a photographer, and my mom a jewelry artist, so I've always been surrounded by creative minds.
I left my hometown hamburg to dive into Berlin's dynamic film scene. i started as a camera assistant, working on both national and international film and advertisements. In 2017 I started studying at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) to become a director of photography.
My work has been shown and awarded at international festivals, including prizes for cinematography and for the films as a whole.
I am drawn to films that move something in us, work that thinks beyond the obvious and opens new ways of seeing.
