In Iceland where trees are starting to grow over the barren landscape as the glaciers melt, rumors are spreading over the playground that with the trees the werewolves are coming back! One night young Þröstur wakes to find blood in the bedsheets of his 13 year old sister... could it be, his own sister, a werewolf?

The tale of menstruation as one of magic and fairytales and not of suffering. Telling not only the change she feels in herself but also the burden of an oncoming responsibility: a changing climate reality she did not ask for.
